Day 11 of 365 | The Carnivore Diet Experiment!

Hello friends: It’s day 11 of 365 of the carnivore diet experiment! I had the best sleep last night! I am noticing that I am falling asleep much quicker and I am sleeping throughout the night. A month ago, I had such difficulty falling asleep and I would just toss and turn. I wouldn’t say that I had insomnia. I would say that that amount of sugar that I was eating was having an effect. Researchers at Boston University School of Medicine found that people who slept less than 6 hours a night had more blood sugar complications compared to those who received 8 hours of sleep.

Some of the things I tried to get a better night sleep were:

– I would go to bed at the same time every night.

– Made sure that my bed was comfy.

– A hot room affected my sleep. I made sure that it was cool and well ventilated.

– Made sure that my room was dark and free from noise.

– I walked every day!

I did all of the above things and I still had issues falling asleep. Eating only meat daily definitely has helped with my sleep issues. I also believe that removing coffee (caffeine) from my menu also did the trick. The other culprits were sugar and carbs. Who would of thought that eating just meat daily would help me to sleep better.

Today’s dinner was steak of course. I also made had 6 strips of bacon! What an absolutely delicious dinner!
