Carnivore Diet | Omad Three Month Update! Before and After Results

Hello friends: I have been doing the carnivore diet experiment now for 3 months. My goal is to do it for 52 weeks. The carnivore diet is a diet that consists of eating meat when you are hungry and drinking water when you are thirsty.

The carnivore diet movement exploded on the scene when Dr. Shawn Baker started to promote it. He spoke about it on the Joe Rogan show. For that one interview, he reached millions of people. I saw that interview and decided to give it a try. My protocol is to eat meat once a day. I can eat as much as I want until full and satisfied. My beverage was water. No coffee or tea. So basically, what I’m doing is omad(one meal a day)/carnivore diet.
I chose not to have coffee or tea because I have to have molasses and cream in my coffee. Sweeteners are not allowed on this diet.

I have seen some amazing benefits. This diet helped me to see that I was allergic to dairy. Cutting dairy has cleared my adult acne and helped with my digestive issues. It has always helped with my battle with periodontal disease. Actually, it reversed it. I think this has a lot to do with the elimination of sugar. Currently, I am struggling a bit. I am not dropping as much weight as I expected I would and I am also experiencing very severe sugar cravings. I intend to complete the challenge. However, if I do fail. I know it will be due to cravings. I have read so many blogs about this diet and so many people have said that their sugar craving goes away within the first month. What about me? Ok…I know everyone is different. I wonder if I am lacking in some nutrient that is making me feel that I want carbs or sugar. It’s been three months after all. I do not feel hungry when I’m not eating. Actually, when I eat a fatty steak. I always felt full for a very long time. It is the delicious sweet smells, the commercials, being around carbs and sweets, the parties, the family gatherings. The social aspect of this diet is a real challenge. What do you guys think? Also, did your craving ever go away while on this diet?
