Day 42 of 365 | The Carnivore Diet Experiment!
Hi friends: It’s day 42 of 365 of the carnivore diet experiment!
Week 6 health benefits so far:
Acne – Acne has returned due to dairy.
Digestion – Still no more acid reflux! No more bloating!
Sleep – Same as last week – I am sleeping throughout the night.
Weight – Current weight is 135.2!??
Week 1 – I was 139.6!
Week 2 – I was 137.2!
Week 3 – I was 138.8!
Week 4 – I was 137.2!
Week 5 – I was 137.4!
Looks like the scale is moving in the right direction! As I mentioned last week I was stuck at 137ish. The moral of the story is…the scale is going to do what she wants to do.
Energy – I feel great! I have so much energy!
As you know, I did re-introduce dairy back into my diet. Actually, I introduced goat milk and goat cheese. My daughter loved the goat cheese but hated the goat milk. I loved the goat milk and I loved making matcha tea with it. I liked the goat cheese too. It was a nice little addition to all the meat that I have been eating but I have had to remove it. I noticed that my acne is returning. I know now for a fact that dairy in any form triggers my acne. Like my daughter, I noticed some new pimples on her forehead. So goodbye goat cheese and goat milk it was nice knowing you.
One major observation, in small amounts the dairy was ok but when I started eating large amounts. The acne came back.
Today’s dinner was steak! Yum!
