What happened when I drank one gallon of water a day for one month!
Hi family: I wanted to share with you my one-month water challenge. When I started this challenge, I did it mostly for my skin. However, I noticed a side-effect which was weight loss. This challenge helped me to seriously make a change in my life. At the time I had many health problems that were a result of being overweight. At the time of the making of these videos, I do not think I was ready to look at those issues. Honestly, I did not realize how overweight I was. Looking back at these videos. I can only say…Wow! As an afterthought, I do not recommend drinking this amount of water. Keep in mind that I did drink my gallon of water over a 16 hour period of time. You should check with your doctor to find the amount that is right for you. However, in my case. I really think it helped me to not eat as much as I usually ate. The water replaced the constant snacking I did. My belly was always filled with water. So I didn’t feel hungry. I developed a healthy new habit which was drinking water! I noticed weight loss during this time.
As for the challenge I drank a gallon of water a day for 31 days. I ate my normal meals. I did not restrict calories. The negative aspect of this diet is the need to urinate constantly. This was really annoying when I was out. I had to always know where the bathroom was.
