DAY 9 OF THE 30 DAY CARNIVORE DIET CHALLENGE!
Hi everyone: It’s day 194 of omad and day 9 of the carnivore diet challenge! Today I was hungry at around 2pm. If I wasn’t doing omad, I would have eaten some meat. Why am I hungry? I don’t think I ate enough yesterday. My steak was on the small side. Moving forward eating enough will be priority number one. Today’s dinner was melt in your mouth tenderloin steak, chicken cracklings and eggs. So good!
I decided that I would not exercise during this challenge. Before starting this I saw many youtube videos and people were saying that they lost large amounts of weight while on this diet. Losing weight isn’t my goal at this point. I am at a comfortable 135 and I am just trying to maintain. However, I would love to see my abs. I do go for a daily walk each morning before starting work but I would not consider it a work out. It’s more of a 30-60 minute stroll.
Many of you are asking me on Instagram how many calories am I consuming. I am not counting calories or tracking macros. I really hate tracking and it makes me feel restricted. I am eating until I feel full and satisfied. If I still feel hungry after eating, then I will eat more. I have been eating eat least on steak a day with another meat product. I am really loving the ribeyes. That mix of protein and the marbling of fat. Looks great and taste good too. My issue is still…I do not think I am eating enough. After eating my ribeye steak, I feel so full. Before this challenge I had a one hour eating window. Now I have decided to extend it to 4 hours so that I can eat more.
