Day 58 of 365 | The Carnivore Diet Experiment!

Hi friends: It’s day 58 of 365 of the carnivore diet experiment! One of the bigger challenges in losing weight is getting your mind aligned with your goals. More often, your mind is aligned with what you DON’T want – bad habits, poor eating choices, avoiding exercise, and self-destructive actions. Now this is where visualization come in. I love using visualizing for weight loss and weight maintenance.

What is Visualization?

Visualization is the process of seeing images in your mind. To use visualization for weight loss, you simply need to create thoughts in your mind about situations that you want to make true.

I imagine the body I want. When I would look in the mirror I would imagine myself wearing my hope shirts. It was a pair of shorts that I once wear but could no longer. Actually, what I did was trick my brain into thinking that I fit those jean shorts. I simply imagined myself wearing them.

I pictured myself going into my closet. Putting one foot. Then the other. They were loose and slid over my thighs easily. I was able to zip them up. I looked at myself in the mirror. My tummy was so flat. I looked amazing.

I did this every day. Mind you I also started intermittent fasting. Intermittent fasting alone did not help me. I had to make the decision to lose weight first. Everything else fell into place. Visualization is an important part of your weight loss journey. As I slowly approach my weight loss goal of 130, I sometimes find myself visualizing seeing that number on the scale.

I had a yummy dinner tonight. Steak and eggs. Just in case you are new to my blog. I am currently eating one meal a day along with doing the carnivore diet.
