Day 50 of 365 | The Carnivore Diet Experiment! Crazy??
Hi friends: It’s day 50 of 365 of the carnivore diet experiment! Have you told your friends and family that you are doing intermittent fasting, omad or the carnivore diet? You do know that they think you are crazy? I want to explain to you why they think you are nuts. They probably look at you strange and say what are you doing? This is so weird. Why are you eating just meat? Why are you just eating once a day?
It’s ok to skip breakfast! They may even say that what you are doing is unhealthy. So they think you’re crazy because the way you are eating is new to them and honestly it’s to strange to them. Remember we were all taught to eat three meals a day with many snacks. Not too long ago, the strategy of losing weight was to eat 8 small meals a day. So you are going against the norm.
I love intermittent fasting. I will be eating like this for the rest of my life. Explain to your friends and family that…as for intermittent fasting, it is not a diet, it is a frequency of eating. It has very powerful effects on hormones and anti-aging. This is great if you want to lose weight and stay young.
Because they are talking to you about it…this is the time to educate them. Explain that omad is one meal a day. Tell them that the carnivore diet is a meat-only diet. Tell them that you have researched this diet and have checked with your doctor first. Encourage them to do the same if they are really interested.
If they are interested in knowing more, tell them that you did intermittent fasting. Then worked your way up to omad. Now you are experimenting with the carnivore diet. This is one of the best elimination diets and many think of this diet as their own individual experiment. This diet can be very hardcore. So recommend that they talk to their doctor first.
If they are interested in doing these diets explain that these diets burn fat for fuel. Fat is the best fuel for the brain, weight loss, immune system, and hormones. Sugar is something that should be avoided.
After telling your friends and family all of this information. They might just be interested in joining you. Feel free to tell them more about what you know. You could also give them these referrals.

The point is you can only help people that want help. I try not to push my views or journey on my friends and family. I don’t try to convince them to do what I am doing but if they are interested I am very happy to share what I do know.
