Day 47 of 365 | The Carnivore Diet Experiment!
Hi friends: It’s day 47 of 365 of the carnivore diet experiment! For this experiment as it relates to exercise I have stopped going to the gym or doing any hardcore workouts. I have basically been going for walks after work. The walks are more like strolls. I’m not breaking a sweat. I usually walk for about 45 mins to an hour. So it’s now November and in my neck of the woods, it’s getting cold. It’s winter coat time. We have had one mild snowfall so far and I am pleased about that.
It’s also getting darker around my walking times. Last night I went out at 4:30 pm and on my way back home. It was pitch black. It didn’t really feel safe walking in this condition. So I may have to make other plans. I think that it is important to do some form of physical activity.
I work from home and do computer work. So my lifestyle is pretty sedentary. If you are in the same situation and doing the carnivore diet, it’s important to get outside and get some sunshine and move your body.
I may have to drive to my closest mall and walk for 45 minutes to an hour or I may start doing some yoga at home. I am of the mindset that there should be zero excuses for exercise. You don’t have to join an expensive gym. You can just walk or stream class if you like too.
I am still pretty old school and I love just popping my dvd into the player. Here are my recommendations if you would like to incorporate exercise in your carnivore journey.

- Billy Blanks: Tae Bo Platinum Collection Start with the cardio explosion daily. Billy Blanks is often imitated but never duplicated. Many people copy him but they workouts are never as good.
- Jillian Michaels: 30 Day Shred I love this workout too. This workout is a game-changer for beginners.
In the up and coming weeks, I may add one of the above workouts to my day or I may have to go back to going for walks in the mornings. I will keep you all posted on my decision. It is also dependent on weather conditions too.
In the meantime, go and check out those DVDs. I do recommend some form of exercise while doing this carnivore diet. You will be surprised at how you feel. I have noticed that being on an all meat day has given me so much more energy. I never feel depleted or tired after eating my meal. I think you understand what I mean. Have you ever eaten a pasta dinner…then had a sugar-filled dessert….ate until your tummy felt like it was going to explode. Did you feel like going to sleep right after? Was all of your energy depleted? This does not happen on the carnivore diet’s watch.
