Day 46 of 365 | The Carnivore Diet Experiment!

Hi friends: It’s day 46 of 365 of the carnivore diet experiment! If you believe you have a food intolerance, the carnivore diet is an amazing elimination diet to uncover food that may have issues for you. I noticed an issue with dairy myself. Dairy was causing my acne to flare up. I think an adequate amount of time to test for an intolerance is one month. Some people are able to spot the intolerance right away.

So basically, eat only meat and then slowing introduce one of the foods that you think is an issue for you. It took at least 24 days for me to spot the offender. You also have the option of consulting your health provider who has knowledge of your health concerns and medical background. In my case, my doctor said there was zero connection to dairy and my acne. However, he was wrong. There was a drastic change to my face because I have eliminated dairy and I am no longer taking any acne medication orally or topically.

I still do have acne scars but that is a work in process. Plants are still in my life. I use them only for my beauty regime. I wash my face only with water. Then moisturize with fresh aloe and a tiny amount of black seed oil.

Many carnivores tout this diet as an anti-inflammatory diet for people with autoimmune conditions. The daughter of lifestyle guru Jordan Peterson, Mikhaila, was profiled in August 2018 the U.K. publication The Times, she spoke about her diet of beef, salt, and water. She reported that eating an all-meat diet relieved her of her depression symptoms.

What makes me really excited is that the carnivore diet seems to be the most extreme elimination type of diet. Many people that have been eating just meat for years have stated that it removes any food sensitivities. I’m excited to see if it will remove my dairy issues because I would one day want to eat dairy again…at least once in a while. Hopefully, by the end of my experiment. I will have good news to report.
