It’s day 204 of omad and day 21 of the carnivore diet. Last night we went to see the movie Black Panther and it was amazing. I brought some snacks with me because I knew I would be hit with the “popcorn cravings.” I made some chicken cracklings and eat them just like chips. They were tasty, crunchy and really hit the spot.

Now I’m not going to lie, I was so triggered by the popcorn everywhere. The people crunching and that popcorn smell. My daughter and husband both had popcorn, M&M’s and pop. I wasn’t interested in the pop but I really wanted that popcorn. There was absolutely nothing at the concession stand for someone like myself. I also wondered about choices for people doing the ketogenic diet. There was nothing. I hope that this changes in the near future. It would be nice to go to the movies and have some healthy choices to snack on but for now I will have to bring snacks from home.

After watching our epic movie, we returned home and I made a steak for dinner and also finished my chicken cracklings. They are such a great keto and carnivore snack. You can find the recipe here. Chicken Cracklings.

I forgot to mention that I had a really hard time finding carnivore snacks to take to the movie. So, I also took some baby belle cheese with me. I have noticed that when my daughter has any form of dairy she breaks out the next out the next day. She has decreased her intake. I haven’t had any cheese since the start of the challenge. I thought that this would be a good time to have some. It was something easy to pack andΒ  I love cheese. I was so upset to wake up to a greasy face and a few new pimples on my chin. I don’t understand this connection. My doctor has told me that their is zero connection to diary and my acne. My acne is hormonal I have been told. Ugh…as my daughter would say. What the hell! So could cheese be the cause of my acne? I have to keep an eye on this situation.

Just in case you missed it. Here is my CARNIVORE DIET DAY 1 UPDATE!
