DAY 15 OF THE 30 DAY CARNIVORE DIET CHALLENGE!

Hi everyone: It’s day 200 of omad and day 15 of the carnivore diet. Wow! I can’t believe that I’ve actually eaten one meal a day for 200 days straight! My body is so use to this way of eating. I can’t imagine eating any other way.

I love it! There is so much more time now. When I ate more than 3 meals a day. I must be honest. I never ate just 3 meals a day ever. I ate from the time I woke up until I went to sleep. I am happy to say that I even when I would wake up hungry. I never got up and made myself something to eat. I would always drink some water and I would feel satisfied. Also eating at night awakes my acid reflux. So no thanks.

A year ago today, I never drink water. While I worked, I would drink about 4 cups of coffee with cream and sugar. I started the day with bacon, eggs, toast and fruit. I would have many snacks during the day with my coffee. I would always have a big lunch and indulge in a big dinner with of course dessert. After that while watching tv, we would have popcorn or chips. Fast forward to today, I drink plenty of water and I don’t feel hungry. I don’t feel the need to snack. I actually look forward to my one meal. The first bites are the best. It is wonderful to truly taste food and enjoy it.

I am feeling amazing today. I’m also at the halfway point of the carnivore diet challenge. Today’s dinner was T-bone steak and bacon. It was so yummy!

My daughter and husband have been eating regular meals. I cook whatever meat I am eating and I add carbs to theirs. Both agreed that they could go one month without junk food. How sweet of them? Not having that food in the house has been a blessing. If it is not here. Then I am not tempted.
