Carnivore Diet | Omad Two Month Update!
Hi friends: I have completed 2 months of my 365 of the carnivore diet experiment! I almost at my goal weight of 130 pounds. I have lost a bunch of weight since my journey started back in 2017. I am almost now back to where I was before I fell off, I can now fit into my size 5 jeans again! Nice right! It actually feels so good shrinking down in sizes. It feels amazing because it means I’m getting closer to the body that I really want. That’s what it feels like for me.
For this entire process, I have just been doing some light walking and of course the carnivore diet. It has been getting darker sooner. So my walks have been cut short. Now that I am very close to my ideal weight I feel so good that I want to start working out again. Not to lose a ton of weight. I only have 6 pounds to go. I want to start lifting weights to build muscle. However, I don’t want the expense of joining a gym. So I am going to dusk of my old Billy Blank dvds.
I do have some fear…My biggest fear is the future. It’s the thought that visits me sometimes…that maybe one day my pants will start to get tighter. The scale will move in the other direction. My body will change. My legs, hips, thighs, and booty will get bigger. The hope jean shirts that I busted my ass to finally fit into will get tighter. I know that I will be uncomfortable. I have to manage those thoughts and just focus on all that I have achieved.
Thatβs where I am headed! I have lost most of this weight but I know that building muscle will cause me to gain weight. This does screw with my mind a bit but I have to understand that I do want to become more shapely. I have realized that there is a psychological battle ahead with the scale. There is a chance that it will move in the opposite direction. I will see this as a non-scale victory!
